Aesop Bleecker Street

A space of eclectic inspiration

Designed in partnership with Rodney Eggleston of Melbourne’s March Studio, Aesop Bleecker Street is located in a neighbourhood that has been home to many idiosyncratic creative spirits—including Walt Whitman, Franz Kline, Marianne Moore and Leonard Cohen—and witnessed the birth of many enduring works of literature, art and music.

In accordance with this heritage, familiar materials come together here in unconventional contexts. A lime-washed plywood frame houses product display and extends across the ceiling as a decorative element; leather flooring effects a sense of warmth and intimacy; and a burnished brass sink and Louis Poulsen pendant lamp provide contrasts in texture and palette.
