Situated in one of Melbourne’s busiest central retail precincts, Aesop Emporium relocated in mid-2017 to spacious new quarters. The design for the new space was created in partnership with Kerstin Thompson Architects; a straightforward extrapolation of its predecessor, it relies on a natural materiality and palette to evince a calming presence in a consistently bustling retail environment.

As in the original Emporium space—also designed in partnership with Thompson’s firm—sustainably sourced Spotted Gum is used extensively throughout the interior for product shelving, flooring and perforated screen doors. Complemented by brass accents and subtle lighting, the sum of these parts is a warmly inviting setting in which to explore our complete range.
