Aesop Garden State Plaza

Aesop Garden State Plaza, designed in-house, responds to the diagonal angle of its façade with three octagons that sculpt the large space into warm enclaves. The geometry is expressed in floor-to-ceiling cork panels and brass inlaid into the concrete floor—both materials contributing thermal comfort and texture to the room. Maple timber forms the shelves and cabinets and clads the stately basin that sits in the entrance. To the rear of the store, the third octagon becomes an intimate nook for respite and discovery. A generous, cushioned bench welcomes visitors to pause and rest. Two individual basins provide the opportunity for more in-depth product encounters.
