Our second Los Angeles signature store, created in partnership with local firm Brooks + Scarpa, took initial design cues from nearby costume shops and fashion houses. Their ubiquitous bolts of fabric inspired the selection of cylindrical cardboard tubes as the primary material for walls and fittings.

The resulting utilitarian aesthetic is further emphasised in countertops crafted from recycled paper, and offset by large street-front windows which admit abundant natural light and effect a sense of openness. The sole embellishment: three vintage porcelain sinks sourced from a local salvage yard, which stand in the window and offer a glimpse of product demonstrations to passers-by.
