Our debut Texas signature store in Houston’s diverse Montrose neighbourhood was created in collaboration with the Québécois architect Alain Carle. The interior’s design responds to the relaxed character of the district.
In a nod to the area’s domestic roots, original timber flooring is complemented by joinery in locally sourced Texan Pecan and curtain-like panels of diaphanous cotton, instilling a sense of familiarity. Lush foliage layered with galvanised steel supports, exposed joists and powder-coated aluminium shelving subtly echoes the intersection between Houston’s urban sprawl and its sylvan bayous.
