Created by our in-house Design Department, Aesop Golborne Road reflects the liveliness of the London neighbourhood colloquially known as Little Morocco. Drawing further inspiration from works by Erno Goldfinger (the store is situated in the shadow of the Brutalist architect’s Trellick Tower), the interior is characterised by minimal furnishings and warm accents.
A centrally positioned, outsized timber sales counter with a terrazzo top anchors the space and guides exploration. In complement, black Walnut timber shelving and slatted cupboards—reminiscent of Trellick Tower’s detailing—line the walls.
A large pendant lamp instils warmth, while natural light bathes the interior through pivoting Bauhaus-style windows at the rear. Existing details, including original floorboards and Moroccan detailing adoring the façade, have been left intact.
