Our second incarnation in Seoul’s Parnas Mall recreates a quasi-domestic setting within the elegant shopping centre, transporting visitors into a serene environment. On the side of the main façade, the store is sheltered from the ambient bustle by a semi-opaque curtain and a vestibule where visitors can wash their hands and start to experience our distinctive aromas, preparing body and mind to transition into an altogether different atmosphere.
The interior is defined by a palette of warm, humble materials, including aged brass and beige paint with visible brushstrokes that betray the work of a human hand. The space is bathed in soft, protective light punctuated by dramatic shadows. Products are displayed on low cabinets, arranged like the objects that accumulate over time on a living-room sideboard. One wall is occupied by an intriguing armoire which, when opened, reveals an inner world of sights, sounds and scents relating to our fragrances.
Demarcated from the main trading floor by a low partition and a suspended ceiling, a reassuringly intimate alcove houses an enveloping sofa, ideal for exploring our range of aromas for the home. A wall of travertine mosaic features aged-brass basins where customers can assay skin, hair and body products distinguished by botanical and laboratory-made ingredients of the highest quality. This downtempo recess enjoins visitors to feel at ease, put down their bags, hang their coat, and dive into an in-depth conversation with a trained consultant.
