Aesop’s Lincoln Park signature store in Chicago was designed in collaboration with architects Norman Kelley. Situated among the parks and homes of the neighbourhood, it pays homage to the city’s famous modernist tradition.
Exploring dichotomies between natural and manufactured materials, the interior alternates between organic and rigid forms. Rich Walnut timber spans the space, while a minimalist framework of steel shelving creates a rhythmic structural order of line and void.
