Rōzu Eau de Parfum in amber bottle placed on block of ice, alongside piece of wood and a rose.

Rōzu Eau de Parfum

A tender intensity

Celebrating French modernist Charlotte Perriand, Rōzu revels in an unexpected balance of expressive florals and softly-spoken spices. The fragrance is a reinterpretation of rose, liberated from its traditional associations, and brushed with the aroma of alpine peaks.

A perfectly imbalanced fragrance

Rōzu Eau de Parfum opens on elaborate notes of rose—an aroma deep and warm by nature—which is met by icy shiso, reminiscent of the mountains where Charlotte Perriand spent much of her time. The fragrance is grounded in notes of spice and woods, and intended for all genders.

Rōzu Eau de Parfum

A brazen yet delicate fragrance expressing the lifecycle of the rose—from the earth in which it is planted, to full bloom and fading petals—with vibrant shiso accords, woods and light smoke.

A pioneering presence

Energetic and dauntless, Perriand was a freethinker who strode with confidence and cheerful audacity through both personal and professional realms. She was also a lover of wild, elemental spaces, relishing vigorous outdoor activity at every opportunity.

A conversation between East and West

In the early 40s, Perriand left France for Japan, and soon came to admire the elegance and rituals of handmade Japanese design.

In Les Arcs in the 60s, a ski resort in France, she studied the relationship of people to spaces, exploring the concept of standardisation to improve the ‘art of living’.

Throughout her long career, Perriand continued to experiment with the relationship between traditional crafts and industrialisation.
