Stafield Goyang store interior

Textural familiarity and sophistication in harmony

Our eighth Korean signature storeis located within Gyeonggi-do’s Starfield Goyang retail complex. Created by our in-house Design Department, its design was informed by traditional Hanok architecture and historically significant concepts in Korean philosophy and design—chiefly, the yeobaek, or ‘void’.

A sweeping curvilinear façade offers the first hint of a space that plays with asymmetry and scale. Upon entry, the eye is drawn to two large central volumes wrapped in brass. Beyond these structures, recessed shelving crafted from Korean Maple lends a sense of geometric balance.

Walls panelled in Korean Maple veneer, along with solid Ash joinery, express admiration for local timbers; flooring integrates traditional Mulberry paper and sisal carpet in a grid-like pattern, blending elegance with a textural familiarity.
