Newcomer Kitchen creates social and economic opportunity for newcomer women in Toronto through food-based projects, and provides marginalized communities with a unique opportunity to engage in a meaningful, dignified way. It also provides a crucial space for cultural heritage threatened by global diaspora, offering a forum for inter-generational mentorship through sharing recipes and stories.
