Villa «Le Lac »: An insight into a historic site

One of the most intimate—and surely among the most personal—projects of Le Corbusier was Villa «Le Lac », a house built for the architect’s parents at the edge of Lake Geneva. We are pleased to offer our valued clients the opportunity to enjoy a private guided tour of the Villa on Sunday 18 March, and to discover this modest but handsome site and its history. Light refreshments will be provided.

To attend, please RSVP via the link above by 15 March. Kindly note that as places are limited in quantity, they will be offered to the swiftest respondents, who will be notified via email.

Largely unchanged since its construction in 1923-4, the house is a seamless blend of elegance and functionalism, and evinces many of the architectural tenets with which Le Corbusier would come to be identified. The private tour will be given by an expert from the Association Villa «Le Lac » Le Corbusier, offering insight into the heritage and preservation of the house.
