From 29 September to 8 October 2023, we are staging ‘Khronos: a Skin Odyssey’—an artful installation capturing the synergy between the skin and wellbeing—in Singapore’s iconic Fort Canning Park. Taking place at both Raffles House and the Old Married Soldiers' Quarters, the sensorial journey will evoke the skin’s intrinsic connection to the inner self and the external world, reflecting our uncomplicated and unhurried skin care philosophy.
A voyage of self-discovery
Khronos: a Skin Odyssey
An artful encounter will take place in Singapore’s Fort Canning Park from 29 September to 8 October 2023, exploring the profound connection between the skin and overall wellbeing through design installations, workshops, and more.
Act I: An artful encounter
The Greek word khronos, meaning time, evokes Aesop’s unhurried approach to skin care—a considered combination of select formulations applied daily, thoughtful dietary choices, reasonable exercise and activities that nurture the mind. Echoing the continuous surface of the Klein bottle, a mathematical curiosity with no distinct inner or outer boundaries, the installation at Raffles House beckons visitors to ponder the intricate dialogue between their skin’s condition and a balanced lifestyle.
Act II: A tailored skin care regimen
The word ‘routine’ is defined both as a habitual, mechanical procedure, and an unthinking, potentially boring way of doing things. A ‘regimen’, by contrast, is a systematic plan, actively designed to support and maintain health. With this in mind, we have devised a series of workshops catering to different preferences and needs: each will guide you towards optimal skin health by helping you implement a personalised skin care regimen.
Everyday skin care A simple daily regimen for the uninitiated and those just getting started.
Anti-oxidant fortification A regimen for urban dwellers featuring our Parsley Seed range.
Vitamin replenishment A Vitamin-C-rich regimen for day and night, featuring our Skin Care+ range.
Nighttime skin care An evening regimen for those seeking an overnight refresher.
Please note that reservations are required due to limited availability.
Act III: Recalibrating the mind and body
In addition to effective skin care regimens, we advocate for a healthy, balanced lifestyle. We are therefore pleased to host a series of nourishing workshops and other activities in partnership with fitness studio ALLY Singapore as well as performance and recovery facility Sphere.
Please note that reservations are required due to limited availability.

Historical venues
‘Khronos: a Skin Odyssey’ will be set within two iconic venues in Fort Canning Park, a lush and verdant sanctuary situated at the heart of an urban landscape offering quiet moments of respite. A hilltop landmark that once housed the palaces of 14th-century kings, the park now acts as a venue for music concerts and stage performances.
The first ‘Khronos: a Skin Odyssey’ experience will take place in Raffles House, a neoclassical-style building that previously served as a Government House. Our workshops will be conducted in the Old Married Soldiers’ Quarters—a restored structure that housed British soldiers and their families in the 19th century.
