As gallery space becomes less accessible, it is difficult for emerging artists to vie for a platform and for large audiences to see them. In a similar vein, the concept of the Art Fair continues to evolve, adapting to industry challenges. Curators and artists alike are working to conceive of new ways to balance commercial investment and creative liberty.
For this and many other reasons, it is a pleasure to partner with The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA), a non-profit organization dedicated to the cultivation, support, and advancement of new voices in contemporary art. This March, NADA will present the seventh iteration of their New York Art Fair, host to over one-hundred exhibitors representing nineteen countries.
To amplify this thoughtful programming, NADA will extend an acquisition gift, allowing The Bronx Museum of the Arts to select a piece for their permanent collection from the works on view at the fair—a generous gesture made possible by ticket sales.
It is delightful to support NADA in this endeavor, and to be among the audience at the fair this March.
