Since 2003, Frieze—a contemporary art organization and publication based in London—has hosted exceptional art fairs in London and New York. This February, they will host the inaugural Los Angeles fair at the iconic Paramount Pictures Studios. Forward-thinking galleries will present work from some of today’s most innovative and thought-provoking artists from California and across the world.
Set against the studio’s backlot reconstructions of New York City and Chicago streets, the projects, talks, and films will transform the space into a cityscape in which art and creativity are central to civic life. Of the more than seventy galleries presenting at Frieze Los Angeles, we are thrilled that Anat Ebgi will feature work by Faith Wilding, an alumnus of California Institute of the Arts’ Feminist Art Program. In addition, multi-disciplinary artist Doug Aitken, will have a solo presentation, with 303 Gallery, of works conceiving of a new vision for Los Angeles.
Having partnered with Frieze New York and Frieze London, it is an honor to celebrate the debut of Frieze Los Angeles. Learn more about Frieze Los Angeles on their website.
