Hydration: a tale of oil and water

Depending on whether it is dry or dehydrated, the skin may benefit from the use of emollients or humectants—each contributes to improving hydration, in their own way.

Our hydrators are designed to address dryness or dehydration—or sometimes both—via quality ingredients. Many are rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants.

Dry skin lacks sebum—the oil produced by sebaceous glands. Lipid-based emollients nourish, smooth and soften skin that feels patchy, flaky, rough or tight.
