We are pleased to celebrate Papier Art Fair, a driving force for contemporary Canadian art since 2007. This year marks the first iteration of the Fair that will include mediums other than works on paper, giving visitors a chance to explore a range of artistic practices. To join the festivities, Aesop Vieux-Montréal is hosting an exhibition of works by local artist Celia Perrin Sidarous.

The works of Perrin Sidarous are suited to Papier’s new inclusive programming, as her photography aims to confound objects—and their placement—by challenging the ways in which we navigate the material world. Often displayed as sculpture rather than photography, her recent work is contextualized as if in dialogue with ceramics and other objects.
